Well, sure the RPD is a good gun (Lol, HC using DTP + Deep Impact on Killhouse, good times, good times), but do you lack decency?

Try using an AK47 - practice with it, and you'll never look back (asides from using the M16 occassionally). Even with a silencer, the M16 destroys in regular, but don't put it on the 47 - not worth it.

Sniping - please, please, PLEASE use a bolt! Try out the M40 and R700, with practice you'll love them to death :)

Stealth - err, a USP + Silencer? I honestly think stealth is overrated (that is in public gameplay) - I'd much rather have better perks and more powerful weapons than UAV Jammer.

Also, I must say - don't waste your first perk with 3x frag! Bandolier is a much smarter choice as it allows you to pick up, and start with, more ammo (you pick up more ammo w/ bandolier).

Finally, flash > stun!! If an enemy is guarding a room, they will be facing the door most of the time. A stun will slow their movement, but they will already be facing you. A flash disorients them and, while they may still spray, are much less likely to hit you. Yes, stuns are effective if you are behind an enemy, but I find flashbangs to be much more effective overall.

First off, the lad was looking for sick kits... these are indeed sick kits. Yeah if you prefer you can use others to play with and get good with... I've tried em all in all sort of combos , but when it comes to kits that I kick ar se with good style its the ones I mentioned.

First off, usually use Grip on this too, too lack even more decency

Normally play softcore, and have great success with this kit on Countdown, vacant, Shipment and Showdown.

When I feel like a support role I will use a support weapon... when I feel like assault class I will use my M4 (previouslly used M16 a grat deal and G3 and m14 for a while on that note, but for all around assault capabilities up close and far away m4 FTW!

I've seen your vids mate, and know you know what yer talking about coming to sniping... but mate, were after different things... I like the M21 simple as. Tried the bolts a few times... said to myself, hey I'm playing modern combat... I want a semi ato sniper

I have stopping power in every other kit. But my UAV jammered up MP5 kit, racks me the kills. Nothing I like better with this, than splitting from my team and hearing the enmy UAV is up... knife and MP5 kills galore.

I switch between Bondalier and 3 frags a bit. But for SICK kit 3 nades can rack up multikills and picj up the fallen ones ammo and kit to keep the bullet count up.

Stun = damage indicater, flash doesnt. Advantage - you know they are where you threw it. Besides I normally cook a nade and follow it with stun or vice versa, to make more likellyhood of nade kill.

To conclude, you make fair points Kodak, however the beauty of CoD 4 is that we all play different, have different strengths, weaknesses, ways in battle. My sick kit may be your NOOb kit, but hey, I'll see you at the top of the leaderboard anyway :thumbsup:

I didn't intend to call your kits "noob" or anything along those lines, so I'm sorry if I came off that away, I don't like being a jerk lol.

You make respectable points (some of which I disagree with, of course, but that's life) and it's interesting to hear some counter-arguments from an intelligent individual . *Edit, I feel weird saying that to somebody of your age (not calling you "old" lol), but you get my point :P

However, I must ask - I used to be a stealthy player, playing with UAV Jammer and a silencer... but I gave it up once I realized my time was always surrounding me anyways, basically giving my position away. I know it may work when your team isn't around you, but aren't they close to you more often than not?

I had already offered up my kit suggestions in the earlier pages, so I was just commenting on other responses.

BTW, you remind me of Whiskey lol.

And no probs with your discussion, thats why were here, be very boring if we all had the same opinion

As for using the stealth kit for success. Smoke and deep conditioning can see you get far away from your team and into the thick of the other team - added bonus less likelly to get whacked with air strikes to.

Your right though, often your team does follow the lead, just need to try and get away from them again. Find this tactic works best on maps, where preferablly both teams are playing defensivelly and snipers hanging back. Use this kit a lot on Bog, Bloc and Creek.

Gave me a good laugh when I heard that Creek was sniper heaven. More like my MP5 sending snipers to heaven

I have a similar stealth kit but the mp5 is switched for ak74u? (smg ak). Simply because you can silence the 74 and still have decent damage and range and it doesnt kick all left and right like the mp5.

Plus you can have a deagle and last stand since you dont need your pistol silenced.

if you're gonna make a stealth kit all you need is dead silence. the enemy never gets uav anyways and not using the silencer is if anything an advantage as everyone comes running for you when they see your red dot and you can just sit back and wait for the food to be served(metaphoricly speaking that is). although it would be nice to have a scilencer for the sniper rifles..

if you just wanna play rambo you get yourself an ak-47 with bandolier, double tap and penetration. btw, allways use stuns and deagle!:thumbsup:
