A well practiced Baur is a sniper and an assaulter in one package. The only place where people say it has a disadvantage, in CQC, is actually where its potent damage and excellent deviation make it as deadly as the Krylov or Voss. Anywhere past that, it's accuracy and round per hit efficiency give it the nod in my book. Of course, everyone is free to have their own opinion... but Baur > *.

The recoil is a deterrent to people unlocking the weapon's potential.

Nah, I hate it when PPL just ownz real skills. And have very much luck on the moment that they directly have been called hacker. Its so lame and more for 9year old kids... You just got pwned, Keep on, Knife is back. And get laid.

Only when someone brings it up saying something like "The voss is my favorite weapon bla bla bla bla bla it is accurate in bla bla bla, or voss own i use much and kill lot peoples they call me noob for kill them." Does it come into debate in every thread.

Hackusations are good, it lets you know how you're doing to be called a hacker. Even by the worst player there is in 2142, still is fun.

So a couple weeks ago, I was playing on the NfB server and owning with the krylov when out of no where, I get shot in the head. :hmm: next thing i know i come face to face with Corbin and he dives down and instantly I'm dead. Krylov vs. Zeller at close range, I don't think so. So as the game progress's I get shot at least 10 times by this guy, and all of them head shots! I said he hacks and he just told me to go look at youtube, and so I did. I've seen his recent video and I'm still not convinced he plays ligit, but I could be wrong let me know what you guys think. This is my first post on this forum and it seems like a good place to get honest opinions and I've seen his name a couple times on here, so hopefully you guys can shed some light on this situation. The only thing I thought was a little fishy was the no-scope to the guy in the car. It's at about 2:25. I could be wrong, but isn't the deviation on a sniper rifle insane when unscoped? And he was standing. He stopped moving for about half a second and standing no-scoped him in the car. No one thought, "Wait a second...," on that? Did they change the unscoped deviation on sniper rifles?

its a proven fact that with the voss you can hold down the trigger and instakill people from the longest distance, any of the other guns will take at least 2 short bursts the voss takes 1 longer burst lol

It's not logical, but it makes sense gameplay-wise in that dice wanted to create a decent and accurate support weapon that could put out sustained accurate fire without being able to really compete in the assault role.

Battlefield 2's support weapons were generally **** and cant hold a candle to 2142's, but thats only because bf2's lmg's were pre-nerfed, inaccurate when firing continiously to prevent them from being assault weapons.

my guess is that they didn't want the ganz to become the rediculously accurate & powerful pkm that support had in bf2. remember that gun? all you had to do was go prone aim at the head & mow_people_down_instantly. w/ the ganz, you can mow people down, but the reticule doesn't close up instantly like w/ the pkm. it was nearly a large clipped, fast firing sniper rifle.

To my knowledge, the AK-101 is made with a mechanism to prevent the gun from kicking, Thus making it more accurate (Since you don't have to worry TOO much about kicking) So basicly that little mechanism is just making it more accurate cause the Kick isn't as outragous as it normally would be.

Now with this in mind, This is 2142...The year that is, I imagine it's more than possible.

it does make sense actually think of it like your guy fires his mg and gradually gets used to and compensates for the recoil by further bracing himself over the period of a a few seconds.:thumbsup:
