yes we have known for probably over a year now you can sorta do fast rops with grappling hooks, but not very effectively and if you wanted to do it that way as you can see via the videos above, its already in game :p

At 2:05 you can see the pilot being kicked for 2 punished tk's, seems like this kind of fastroping needs more thinking :p
