9 AT kills, lol

497 hours in the game total, and 17 hours as the engineer kit. I don't like using engineer. When I need a kit to go against vehicles, I always use anti-tank. I play a lot of highway tampon, so the AT kit is what I always use for that map

6,726 kills with 250 hours in kit.

I only really started using this kit alot in the last year. By far my fave kit now due to the all round ability it offers. The Jackhammer rocks at close quarters, mines in the right place can be a great defence and the ability to fix commanders assets and vehicles keeps the team working.

Fave map to use with kit is Dalian Plant, most of my kills have come from there.

Do you have any tips? Do you just know the choke points of maps very well, or do you lay AT mines infront of vehicles in enermy bases?

choke points, yes, in front of enemy vehicles yes yes.
I put them all over the place, but I dont put them all in one place. One maybe two are sufficient to defend a road, path , or entrance.

I like Engineer cuz its the one kit where I dont have to be afraid of tanks.
All other kits I find myself running away from them, but with Engineer, I run towards them.:shot:

My tip is to run right out there and throw a mine right on top of that tank and show him who's boss. :thumbsup:

This thread topic has been a question on my mind for a year, and I have just now made up my mind to find out once and for all!

I have not found this stat to be one that is tracked for a global score rank, and I want to know where I stand amoungst the most diehard Engineers! I sincerely want this topic to be informative, so please help me become less ignorant on this subject!

I've got just under 3,000 hours but only 4,426 mine kills.

All the servers had default set to FF on for mines for years, so after getting heaps of tk's I used them less and less. Mine ff on with tk's going to the minelayer by default was to "prevent abuse" by engys laying mines around friendly vehicles to cause trouble.

But in my experience the opposite is the case, and after recording how players deliberately run them over, to lower my score and take 1st place, I finally got my local server provider to turn ff off on mines.

Mines are great to defend capturable main bases when you're commanding. They are hard to use offensively, usually get blown up with them.
