* 768 MB RAM
* A 128 MB Video Card, with support for Pixel Shader 2.0
* At least 6 GB of hard drive space

Mac:

* Mac OS X 10.5.3 Leopard or higher
* Intel Core Duo Processor
* 1024 MB RAM
* ATI X1600 or NVidia 7300 GT with 128 MB of Video RAM, or Intel Integrated GMA X3100
* At least 4.7GB of hard drive space for installation, plus additional space for creations.
* This game will not run on PowerPC (G3/G4/G5) based Mac systems (PowerMac).

In other words, you won't need a Crysis crazy PC to run Spore. :yay:

Those are actually really low requirements. I haven't seen ones that low in a long time.

Woot. This comes right when i find out on the 17th, a nerfed version of the creature creator is coming out for only $10. Now the only problem is waiting for September :cry:

Saw such low reqs coming when I first looked at the game as it doesn`t exactly shine in the eyecandy department.

Wow 2.0 P4? That will make a lot of people happy I presume.

As long as you can turn up the graphics a fair bit if you have a good system I'm fine with it.

although i would probably follow the Mac's requirements it seems more plausible
