Total BF:BC Clan?

I've contacted both Spawndemon and ThQp regarding the creation of an Official Total Battlefield: Bad Company clan, and the consensus was basically 'if there's enough interest', combined with a /hopefully/ much improved squad/VOIP system for the full game.

So, what're your thoughts about creating a Total Clan? Using this> social group as a 'clanbase' in the meantime, until an official one is created (like I said, pending enough interest)

Stonecold313 also raised an interesting point regarding global locations of people, whether meeting-times and such would be based on EU or US times.

I'd wear a TGN tag, but I wouldnt be available to play all the time.... and I don't use a headset. :|:

We can just shout and you and assume you'll be doing what we tell you :P You should invest in one... pending DICE get their act together regarding VOIP.

If you guys do, do it, I HIGHLY suggest you have it for both PS3 and 360 to not alienate anyone, if you start off right and early you can be successful in both.

The only problem I see with this is the following:

1. How will we sort squads out so we have the correct people in each squad as there is no squad selection capabilities?
2. How will we sort teams so players are on their clans team as there is no team switch function.
3. How will we select a server to play on as there is no list of servers like the PC version.

Hopefully the full game will have better team/squad features but it might just end up like the demo in which case it could be a problem.

To the #3 i can answer...

We could have one guy at first go to a server. And then rest would go to custom match -> press square(ps3, don't know what it is on 360) -> select the previously set player from the list -> press triangle to join the session...

Only DICE/EA seem to know... it'd be a massive shotgun wound to their feet if they decide to ignore the ever-growing need for clan support.

And of course, 360 and PS3. (Everybody check their social group invites :thumbsup:)
