ive been a bit more point hungry lately ill run after people with my medbox out even some of those people that dont realize your trying to heal them so they just keep running lol

It's worst when someone calls for a med, you start chasing after them and goes where there alot of enemies and gets you both killed. lol

And it appears I have been reminded why I used to love the game so much - CTDs and all

I will get this reinstalled as soon as I rebuild this machine: A year at university really slows a computer down :p

Wow. It's really nice to read threads like this one, because I'm a real diehard fan of the BF series and have played 2142 the most, even if I played them all. However, during the lasr year there seemed to be a lot of whining comments and the community looked a bit more aggressive (which is why I haven't stayed long on the Planet Battlefield forums ) so I let it go for a while. But I do miss this game and after reading a few post this morning, I realize that I'm quite overdue to dive back in. This is indeed a great game. I'm not the best fighter out there but I'm a good team player and I enjoy its possibilities. So see ya' all pretty soon on the battlefield! :evil:

If you're getting bored with Vanilla 2142 or with the whole public server thing, you should give Conflic 2142 a shot. You'll find it at www.CF2142.com, we're growing everyday. Basically, it's a total mod for 2142 that combines a lot of what you loved about BF2 with what you love about 2142. There are two armies a rank structure in each army. Battle are conducted on Sat. and this isn't your clan ladders or anything like that. It's war man...

But if you are getting bored with 2142 this will definately spice it up. Best of all it's free, we run on donations, have several servers to include a public ranked server. I hope to see you all there. Sign up and join in the battles.
