Still Worth Playing?

Hey everyone - I signed up here a long time ago (back when it was still Total Battlefield 2142 :p), but lurked more than posted.

I have not played 2142 for a very long time - and I thought it might be interesting to get back into it.

Is it still worth playing now? Or has it gone stale and awful?

In general Yes, It is worth playing. Even thought it's a game rated T for teen, a lot of mature adults play this game which is a good thing.

However, once in a while there are idiots try to ruin the game for others but in generally this is a fun game. A combination of first person shooter, tactical, skills and levels.

Battlefield series is very unique, therefore, play!

I got out for a few months and came back for 1.50 and have been happy so far. Play a few rounds of single player and get the feel back and jump online.

still plenty of people playing and yes it is definatley still worth playing. I own alot of games and 2142 is the one that still gets the most play.

IMO this game sucks more then paris hilton. like seriously you should come and join all the cool people and play WoW. i am in a guild and everything.

With patch 1.40 it was a pain to try and play with so many server crashes, but with 1.50 you can enjoy the game more. Server crashes has gone down drastically, disconnects as well and atleast in my occasion, haven't had a single CTD in 1 week, with 1.40 i would get about 1 every 2 hrs or so.

Yeah they fixed most of the problems (yay for EA!) its definitely still worth playing.
2142 takes teamwork. Which is why people hate it because they think they're gods by themselves :P
