1st time called hacker

I was playing on =GI= server a few days ago on the wet lands map. I managed to get in one of the jets and was lucky enough to have it for the whole game.

Anyway I was doing pretty good as the other team didn't have a good pilot (I'm not a good pilot). This guy (full corporal) is flying in the enemy jet and isn't doing all that good.

I took him out every time because he uses flares badley (even worse than me) and doesn't attempt any counter manouvers. By the 4th time I've taken him out he's telling Admin I'm a ****ing hacker. I had to laugh as I've been playing for 2 years nearly and this is the first time I've been called a hacker.

I told him to learn to fly and he left the server. Got to say that I feel like I've reached a mile stone in this game when poeple are calling me a hacker because I've owned them.

it also shows that the corporal is a total ******* cos afaik there isnt any hacks for veichles

I've been called hacker many times even by generals because I killed his heli in jet gun mode and he said I had an aimbot lol

Don't get wrong guys, I couldn't give a rats ar5e about being called a hacker. My point was that I have now, for the first time after 2 years been called such.

I see it as a rights of passage for those who play this game by the rules and regs stated by the server at the time. Then own other players without the use of hacks but by using skills learnt over a long period of time.

I couldn't agree more. Unless you have a special fondness for the particular server that you are on I wouldn't worry about it. The worst that can happen is you get banned and if I were you I wouldn't want to play on a server than bans people for being too good anyways. But that's just me I suppose...

Really, if you know you aren't really hacking, take it as a compliment. I get hackusations occasionally, but I just shrug it off and keep playing.

It is quite funny till they start a vote kick and people just press page up to get rid of the annoying crap on scree :|: /they have friends on.

I mean it never works, when has vote kicking ever worked? but its bloody annoying

your absolutely right, it definitely is a rite of passage.

I remember one of the best times someone said I was hacking... It was on ghost town and 2 clan guys were owning everyone with the apache chopper. I finally timed our chopper spawn right and was able to lift off in the hind - solo (my weapon of choice) as they flew back to their pad to re-arm. I lifted off about 20m - just enough to shoot a total blind fog TV shot towards their uncap. I watched as the missile went right through the center of their cockpit glass and destroyed them as they hovered over the pad. They were both screaming hax! and admin! for the next 5 minutes. :laugh:

The best part is when you get hack accused by non-English people. The actual accusation always comes out in funny forms and you find yourself laughing more than worrying about a ban (which usually comes a few seconds afterwards).

The wierdest hackusation moment ever was when I just plain TV-guided a soloer, and he apparently thought I was "1000 meters away FFS!!11" and proceeded to ban me. It wasn't even a nice kill, he was basically running away from me after missing his first shot.

My first hack claim was on Sharqi Peninsula. I was sitting in a nice little covered position just next to the construction check point sniping guys on top of the TV tower. Great thing is in normal circumstances you wouldn't be able to snipe this far but because they are clearly outlined against the sky it makes it dead easy to pick people off. A guy actually asked me if I had a No Fog hack. Dunno how he could tell where I was to determine my sniping range, I just assumed he went in to sniper mode and couldn't find me.

Most of the hack claims are for this kind of super long distance silhouette sniping.
