What do you think of DoW2 so far?

The sequel of one of my favorite RTS games is coming and I think I'm not the only one who can't wait to get his hands on it. What do you think about this upcoming blockbuster so far? Here's a small summary of what is known about it so far:

-Space Marines and Orkz known so far
->each with its own campaign, both have coop support
-no base building anymore
-some kind of skilltree for the races
-more focused on squads, more detailed, upgradeable with tons of unique items
-destructible environment and the CoH cover system
-Essence Engine 2.0 (Company of Heroes)

CoH wasn`t really my taste, doubt I will like this.

It's a great step forward, the wargear upgrades and loot drops sound awesome. As do does the, destructible environments, CoH cover system and most of all the co-op campaign

Though if it released with only Space and Ork, I might be a tad disappointed, I always liked playing as every race, though I prefered Chaos and Tau. Also the base building thing might be interesting, I liked building large bases in DoW, though it got a bit annoying having to keep building bases for more generators/turrets.

From the Video I seen its just normal DOW with better Graphics.

It will be nearly completely different to what DoW and CoH were.

It better be. Because DoW is too easy once you know what faction to choose and how to use them.

I.E. Necrons or Tau = ownage.

Necrons were only really good on the larger maps, as they're just too slow. Tau, are good at ranged combat, though play very poorly in melee. Their hero units (relic required) aren't that good (Knarloc and Krootox), except for the Hammerhead, which requires the Mont'Ka command post. Chaos, IMO have the best hero, the Bloodthirster, its health drains when it is not in combat though.

it looks really good, i just hope that it has loads of races, if not all. id love to see some tyranids, or a proper army of demon hunters, or if possible a couple of units of deathwatch kill teams(yes i played warhammer 40k for almost 2 years, Marines FTW)

Holding the enemy with the kroot on distance and firing with your firewarriors at them.

The good thing is. You'll never have with one race a way you can always defeat your enemy with. Items and the Skill-tree will always force you to react on the actual style of your opponent.

I know that strategy, though I never really took to it. I much prefer building just fire warriors, stealthsuits and a vespid squad to detect infiltrated units/harass the enemy. The kroots are pretty much useless a part from being meat shields, the Knarloc is only really good at being a shock trooper, and vehicle cap can be better spent on skyray's, hammerheads or troop carriers.

If you want to get the idea on how the gameplay will actual work out, you should try out worldshift.

Worldshift isn't out here, only in Germany and Russia, I believe.

Tau fails when they get rushed when they have no turrets up.
