Login,welcome,loading Screen Flickers

I recently installed vista, i installed bf2142 and all patches. The login screen,welcome screen,loading screen flickers,to where i can barely see the info,but in game play its fine until halfway punkbuster boots me. I tryed checking windows xp2 compatability but then my pc doesnt recognize the bf2142 cd. I havent seen any threads with this particular issue,HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How do i get the flickering to stop? Any input

I got a reply from ea, the solution update nvidia drivers.
It stopped the flickering but my game lags really bad.
So I am going to get a xp copy its alot better then Vista

Sounds like you need to update your hardware before you can take full advantage of Windows Vista.
