shingle, awsome map, very balanced, superior sight distance, i like the look, its like a gibraltar, cerbere combo with a huge variety of areas. i picked up on it right away. it seems like its easier to shoot people from long distance with ARs caus of the sight distance. very nice
Wake Island, well i got my graphics on low and the trees got this real ugly funny thing going on where your a certain distance away and they look like friggin pieces of buildings or something, really really ugly vegetation suffers pretty bad from low graphics probly the most out of anything and this just brings it to light. I didnt really play this map much but i do like the idea of the titan in the middle and the bottom deck actually being accessible on foot.
omg omg omg IO PWNS. no stupid walker or dumb car whores causing any grief i had some really really good rounds infantry only the kills that i posted would not have been possible with walkers stomping around i was able to go wherever i wanted relative to enemies and do what i wanted.
the architecture of shingle makes walkers less potent and easier to kill but i feel it makes gibraltar a better map without them. I did learn though that if you are playing as PAC on camp without a walker at the start you CANNOT goof around in the beginning if you dont take a flag and gain a foothold on harbor or sneak around and take a flag in the back you-are-screwed EVEN more so than with vehicles because your only way out of the uncap is on foot and if you let EU start base raping, you will be hurting very badly, 1 round i played there were EU in the back, on the left, on the right throwing nades sniping vossing ganzing it was not pretty i only managed a 2kd or something really weak. but then after learning that i actually need to take charge and capture some points and control the map our team was winning pretty easily. i do notice for some reason the matches also seem to take a bit longer so you end up accumulating more points in the end.
