New BF2142 Map: Osanippa River Bridge

Tournament Gaming World: 2142 Tournament is releasing their custom maps for download and play. These are playable on regular BF2142--no mod needed. We play these maps in our weekly 40-50 man battles. More info here: http://2142tournament.com. There are only 32 player & 64 player versions, with most 64 player being the reverse of the 32 player version since these are for tournament play. No coop or SP, just Conquest and Titan.

Osanippa River Bridge straddles an important valley, one that will enable EU or PAC to bypass the front line for their approaching forces. A mountain top base has been established for an invading army while the defending army halos in to backup their military outpost. Both sides want control over Osanippa River Bridge - It's a headon battle to the finish. A custom map for 2142 Tournament.

Small 32 player and large 64 player conquest modes, no reverse on this map. Self installer will install to the default BF2142 Levels folder. Overwrite all files.

Wow. That map looks amazing. Too bad DICE didn't choose it for inclusion in the upcoming patch. It looks drastically different from all other BF2142 maps.

Yeah, the installer is down and dirty, but I spend more time on content. -P I wish I had a better installer, though. Maybe since I'm releasing these I will get a better installer. heh.

As for servers running the map, we only use it on battle days, and the maps change every week. Hopefully by making Osanippa available to the public someone will put it in rotation.

i checked out the map on a LAN server by myself. it's a cool map but it has that same problem with wake island and its trees. i also did not find any multiplayer servers with this map
