I still hate the entire ordeal. And you guys in the UK got far worse problems than I do. I just happened to pre-order from the wrong retailer.

Since when did the 29th mean the 2nd? LAME. This just tops my day off.

This probably explains why the demo is not even available on Xbox Live yet...

The demo won't show on xbox live even if you have the code... you enter the code in the redeem feature on xbox then it automatically downloads to the hdd. i wont show in the marketplance until the 5th.. it's the same way the cod4 beta worked on the xobx :)

Well as has been suggested i don't think it was Completely EA's fault, However it is slightly laughable that two large companies Like EA and play.com could have such a break down in communications to the extent that this situation could arise in the beginning... but they are doing something about it so it's not all bad.

Ill admit that at least they have figured it out at last, which is more than you can usually expect from EA. I think my day is just getting on top of me lol.

Totally agree about the communications, if i were those two companies i would be very embarrassed.

Oh, so basically, there was no such thing as early demo access?

Or is June 5th the early demo access?

There is early demo access... they send you an e-mail with the code.. (before the 5th if your lucky) then you enter the code in xobx live and it downloads the demo.. that way only people who pre-orderd get the demo, Then on the 5th the demo will be put into the market place for everyone else to download.

I just setup an account on the EA website, so I'll post and ask my question there, so hopefully somebody from EA will know what's going on, which I doubt it...

I'd check the official BFBC Forums as I'm sure I read somewhere that Gamestop had stopped giving out early demo codes. It might not be right but just so you don't make any hastey decisions its worth checking.

I think EA could have done more with this whole thing...

For example the EA's Finnish site. It said that people who pre-ordered from set retailers(bunch of Finnish gamestores), will be getting the demo early.

And when i called to one of those gamestores, he said that EA hasn't told the retailers anything about this...

So i will be blaming EA for this mess up...

Yeah, this whole demo thing was a complete flop... What a mess. Yuck!

I honestly can't believe how bad it turned out... I was so excited for today and was looking forward to it ever since the Beta. What a major screw up...

You would think that this would have been sorted weeks in advance, so on the day, the emails go off, and it all goes well.

It's really awesome that EA promotes that people who pre-ordered get's a head start on the demo.

And now when the early demo codes should already be delivered. There is like 50 guys(even that many?) who actually got the code and is playing demo right now...

I just hope that this doesn't get any worse from this...
