Hi since i formatted pc 3 days ago. my gaming have changed, while playing online and offline my game is lagged donno wather its graphic or genral lag on the server, i have recent updated the new patch 1.4. if there anyone out there that has any idea?
Have you made sure you have installed new drives for your graphics card, also i had a lag problem after re-formatting and found it helped to get rid of any un-needed processors running in the back groung by holding CTRL + ALT + DELT.
I now do this every time am ready to start gaming and get my processors down from 35 to 22 and it really helps take the strain off my rig.
Is it graphical lagg, bring up the console, by pressing the tilde button (to the left of the number 1 button) and type in the command, "renderer.drawfps 1" no quotes of course. And if while playing see if the numbers fluctuate allot or stay stable.
While doing that check your ping on the scoreboard, from time to time and see if you got ping spikes.
If your fps good, most people say anything over 60fps is good and is stable, but if below time to start turning down graphic settings, turn maybe 2 down a time and test again. If better there you go if not same process, turn down and test.
A RAM check would be good but that is fairly advanced and hard to explain.
1. Apply the dual core optimizer patch from AMD's website.
2. It's probably that your graphics card is having issues, maybe too high resolution. You have a very powerful CPU, a nice video card would help immensely, as would another GB or 2 or RAM. DDR2 is really cheap these days.
OK today i uninstall the graphic drivers... restarted pc downloaded fresh driver from nvidia website installed rebooted pc and played game again. Weird this is the game is not lagged or the grapics so i think i sorted it now :)
