I don't know why but just recently I keep having this problem of re spawning and being stuck waist deep in the ground. It really grinds me - what's going on? Can anyone shed any light on this?

This has happened to me before but only twice in the 1430 hours of playing BF2, so i thought it was VERY VERY RARE, but you seem to be having this problem all the time, its a bug of some sort, probally the rarest bug in BF2 but i have no idea what causes it or how to stop it happaning.

I just can't tolerate it, really ruins my game I keep having to leave and return - oh well reinstall again!

Does it happen on every server because, as it makes sense it to be server side to choose where you spawn and therefore in the floor.
Maybe a different server.

Does not happen on all server - just certain ones. But my concern is that it is becoming more frequent.

I suppose I'd best avoid them and try other servers as you suggest.
