hi quik Q : the above is my prob

in the console i type /Cvar r_lodscaleskinned = 1 and then hit enter
is this correct because it does not fix my prob
i still get kiked
any help would be most helpful...

Do it right in your config

Cdrive>program files>activision>COD4>players>URNAME>confg_Mp.

Open it with NotePad or something... find that line and make it "0"

ok ill give that a go its the only prob ive had with cod 4
its been driving me isane tryen to fix lol

You can also open the console in Call of Duty 4 MP and type "\seta r_lodscaleskinned 1" (without quotes).

When I've been helping people with this problem they typed "\r_lodscaleskinned 1" into the COD4 console.

That command only fixes the problem as long as CoD4 is open. The change isn't written to the mp_config file. The seta command writes it to the config so that the change is permanent.
