bf2 wont install right

Ok so i used to play bf2. then it said my cd key was invalid so i would just uninstall everything then download again and i thought it would work. when i went to install it i put in the disk and all the info for when im installing it. then i get the the last part were it is installing and it just stops at 'C:\...\EAGAMES\Battlefield2\mods\bf2\Objects_serv er.zip' then a little window pops up and says "Faild to install Battlefield 2, please try again from beginning" and all i can click is ok or x out. please someone help all i want to do is play the game again.

I would try doing a manual uninstall and then try to install again.
