    Please HELPP!! Unstable ping ..!!

    HI , I have a lag problems playing BF2 , this cause of my ustable ping ... it happens from time to time .. I mean for a while and then it's normal ... I have probably done everything .. reinstalling my VIsta ... then I've tried with XP ... with different videocard ...but it's the same ... contacted my internet provider , but they say you have normal ping everything is allright ... I just want to know what causes this problem ..if some one have any idea ... then maybe I could fix it ... I have not bad PX configuration ... COre2Duo E6750 , 4 gb of ram 800Mhz , Seagate 250GB , Sapphire hd3870 512MB ... I play BF2 on medium settings with 1280x1024 at 75Hz ... and it's most of the time notrmal ..but this time it's for a week with unstable ping on every server I play .. from 60 to 90 and then 200 to 400 then to 100 ...90 that's the ping rates ... I have pretty good Internet connection with cable modem ..16000 Kbit/sec and upload 1000 Kbit/sec ... please is someone have any idea what could it be ...or any idea how can I maybe nkow it maybe with some monitoring soft ..or something like this ... reply ...

    Try resetting/rebooting you modem/router either unplug it and leave it off for like 30 seconds and plug it back in easiest option or go into the settings and reboot it from there.
    Also is there any other computers on the same internet connection.

      NO this only copmputer ... I have tried to unplug it from power , and other cables ...wated for caple of minutes ... but it's the same ... how can I reboot it other reset it ? there is a button on roter "reset" button ... but I think my provider told me that I should don't use it ....

        Okies, check for viruses/spyware. And any windows updates.
