Who found parts of Half Life 2 quite creepy?

I was playing Ravenholm the other day and the Fast Zombies scared the **** out of me. I think its the combination of it being dark, the tense music and the screeching of the zombies as they come after you.

I didn't like how the crazy ones jumped out of nowhere!

The only times I thought it was scary was when things came out of nowhere... Other than that I didn't think it was particularly creepy. The music helped though.

His traps are slightly weird. The dead zombie shaking on the electric fence was a bit strange

Episode 1 pissed me off, half the level was underground and you couldnt see anything + i had no ammo and there were Antlions and uber zombies everywhere!

Ravenholm
That bit in Episode 1 where your in the pitch dark room waiting for the elevator
The citadel is pretty eery too

Ravenholm! We running ones are rather terrifying! When you walk through that wooden building at the beginning, and there was that corpse with the razor blade through the middle of him, I thought it was going to jump out of the wall! :P. I just sprinted through the last bit with all the crazy ones! haha.:embarassed:

There is a part in Ravenholm where you're in a building and you call for an elevator. When you hit the button for the elevator those screeching, wall climbing zombies start jumping across the roofs coming towards me. The only way I saw into the building was through the door I came through, so I close the door and wait with my shotgun for them to either knock it down or go all Velociraptor on me and open it. I hear them outside, so I brace my self and focus completely on the door looking for any movement and then they fall through the windows in the ceiling right above me. I almost shat myself.

Ravenholm was a bit creepy.

The scariest parts where in Ep.1 were it was completely dark, or you got stuck in the pitch black tunnel while driving somewhere...
