    1.4 Patch Help Please!

    Ok ive installed 2142, and ive downloaded the patch.

    But when i try to run the patch update, after about 10 seconds of starting it says Update Failed.

    Whats wrong?

      where did you get your patch from? Try another source, maybe the one you have is corrupt.

              i downloaded again from FileFront and i still get the same result

              Anyone else have any other suggestions?

                  I'm not 100% sure, but you may need to install patch 1.25, then patch 1.40....

                      You just need 1.40. The most common cause of patch failing is lack of free space on c: drive. You need about 3gb.
                      If you have the free space then try closing background processes or patch in safe mode.

                          Ok its patched.....

                          NOW when i try and join server it says something about unmodified content, please revert to something

                          This is pissing me off.
