my computer thinks I have it installed but I dont. It's not in my start menu and I cannot find it anywhere even in add/remove programs ... hell I even searched files and folders and it's not there.
I pop the CD in and it asks me do I want to play multi or single player ..I say yes to either and it cannot find it. I then tell it to uninstall and it then tells me "error reading setup initialzation file". I hit ok 4 times until that little window dissapears. I cannot install it because it's not an option and cannot uninstall it because it's not there. I don't want to have to reformat "again" just to play but I do want to play.
system restore maybe? .... which caused me to have to reformat 2 weeks ago in which I found out I had a non bootable HD .... I could read the HD but I could not boot up from it, so I just got another one (250 gig) and things are fine but not fine again.
any ideas?
