bah, what a farce. If it's not to be fixed, then I'd rather DICE took it out than keep a bugged kit selection feature in. I'm sure once upon a time, in some beta or another, it worked.

Think of it as a kit suggestion feature. By randomizing your kits every time you play, it encourages you to try out new weapons and add-ons. :p

lol someone posted a workaround to permanently saving kits. it involves connecting to a server, selecting and spawning with a kit, then disconnect, reconnect, repeat, or something to that affect.

Join a server spawn with the kit you want suicide spawn with other kit etc then alt tab and make your profile.con unreadable or something.

change the profile.con file to read only and for the rest follow dtneter.
