Cd Key Problems! Please Help!

ok heres the deal, my mate got a new laptop a bought 2142.
im a keen BF2 gamer and wanted to know what BF2142 was like. so when my mate told me it was crap i wanted to try it from myself.
so i stole it off him and installed it, however when i try to make an account it says CD key in use.
So i went and got his computer, and uninstalled 2142 from his computer and reinstalled it on mine. However i still get the same error message: 'CD Key in use'

PLEASE HELP!

The CD-Key is activated to his account. So basically you can't play it, unless you use his account, maybe ask if you can just make a soldier of his account.

Or buy a copy of the game....

Ahh yea thats what ive heard, thank you so much for confirming it

He doesn't know his account details etc. he only bought it cos he had money to spend.
I will buy my own version...
