internet speed with no lag

iv'e found bf2142 on my desks and i wont to play it on the internet with no lag
my computer stats
intel e8500@3.16
680i sli
4 gb ram
500gb hdd
8800gts 512
i am getting a new internet speed and i want to know what speed to get download/upload i dont want any lag when playing it can someone please tell me what would not give me any lag

The slowest broadband speed should be more than enough. After that it all comes down to things beyond your control and dependant on the type of connection you have. Things like distance to the exchange on adsl or amount of users in your local hub on cable. It's unlikely that these issues should cause a significant problem.

Gameplay should be excellent on your system with a broadband connection.
