XP and Service pack 3?

Has any installed service pack 3 for XP and tryed CoD4 MP after, the reson I ask is because it wants me to update but I don't want it to mess up CoD4 online.

It hasnt affected me and ive had SP3 for about a month now. i.e. You'll be fine

Its just a collection of past patches. If you keep your PC up to date with Windows Update, then you practically have SP3, without it saying you do.
