Re: Who here just loves sniping?
I don't like sniping as much as i like playing the recon kit the way that it was made to be played where you pretty much have to remain as invisible to the enemy for as much as possible and use that stealth to get around and cause all sorts of mayhem and annoyance to the enemy. If I was a only doing it for the sniping, i'd probably only ever carry the gruber and active camo. But there is so much fun to be had with your other goodies as well.
But having said that, I still get much satisfaction taking down dug-in enemies with well-placed shots, popping gunners in the turrets, softening up or killing advancing enemies while squadmates clean up the leftovers, or just simply doing that perfect one shot one kill without giving yourself awayComment

Re: Who here just loves sniping?
Just because I'm good at sniping doesn't mean it is the kit I use most. :p
I use support and assault more than that. BTW, in the 1.5 beta I've been awarded atleast 15 since the patch came out, sadly they don't count. :|:Comment

Re: Who here just loves sniping?
I have been on Anzio lately and due to the stats not being recorded and the fact that the map is awesome for sniping I have rolled out with the recon kit.
Headshotting someone from the other side of the map is great fun. Noob snipers stick their heads over the walls of the command tower and you can shoot them from practically the entire map.
Often I'll find myself set up at a flag and wait 5-10 minutes for a target to appear only for an entire squad to materialize when I finally decide to move. That is the downside.Comment

I like the time I sniped this noobe who just got comfortable in what he thought was a good hiding spot, but little did he know that I saw him, and BOOM nice head shot!:yay:Originally posted by TrooperJacI have been on Anzio lately and due to the stats not being recorded and the fact that the map is awesome for sniping I have rolled out with the recon kit.
