I have 2 computers with their own copy of BF2142, and I occasionally play with my brother. Nearly everyday one of us will get disconnected from the EA master server, but the other can continue playing. Same server, different server, doesn't matter. Any ideas to why this happens?

Is this only recently?
Because for the last few weeks I've been getting random disconnects on BF2, and I know of a few others who have as well. -

Shouldn't both of us be getting disconnected then? Or maybe it's a hardware/firewall problem on one of the computers?Comment

No, I think it has to do with your information with GameSpy, not your hardware/software. Think of it as different chunks of players getting disconnects but because you and your brothers ID info or whatever GameSpy uses are far enough apart that it doesn't affect the two of you at the same time.Comment
