    Modified Content error

    I decided to reinstall 2142 after a number of months. I installed then patched to 1.4. I got the modified content error. I uninstalled, reinstalled, and patched same thing. I read a few reports on the net about it and tried to follow some advice. I even went through the registry to take all the keys out before I reinstalled a third time. I still get the error and cannot join any 2142 server.

    Can anyone help?

      any info on where you downloaded patch 1.4?

          I downloaded two, one from fileshack and the other from one of the mirrors off the EA site.
