    ARrrghh! why?

just now i was playing on the -AAT- (aus) server on the bog level...team death match... and i was on a streak of 31 (using sniper only)...then all of a sudden i get kicked :|: so i join and ask why i was kicked.. and some other guy (non-admin) said "spawn killer loser"... but i didn't spawn kill anyone! i was on my side the whole freeking time!.. and to be honest i think i could have got to atleast 35-40 before i died.. so WHY would they do that?... All i can say is their obviously a bunch of dirty sad players... heh i just needed to vent that..i just cant stand sore losers! especially when their admin..

Join another server and ignore them.

I think the whole forum has gone through this process (of saying the same thing in a vent thread) many times.

You don't HAVE to go to Australian servers, there are Singaporean ones, which give ping of 100 or so.
Or you can go to the official Internode servers.

I play with a ping of 70 on Singaporean servers and I have a ****ty internet connection, it shouldn't be that bad for you.

Spawns will change during the course of the map. As teams push and take territory, the game rotates the spawns into the remaining territory, including the area that the opposing team originially spawned in. If you stayed on your "side" the whole time, eventually the other team might have started spawning in that area, so your killing them immediately would've looked like spawn killing.

If you were only kicked and not banned, then you should be able to go back to that server. Just be aware of this next time you play. If that clan has a website, you might also want to visit there and see if they have forums to discuss gameplay/rules, and if they do, try to PM an admin explaining what happened and try to get clarification of what they call "spawn killing". If you really like that server, just explain that what you may or may not have done was unintentional, but you wanted to get clarification so that it didn't happen again.

The spawning system in this game has some real issues with it, and it's easy to unintentionally spawn kill as players and spawns move around the map.

Yeah u are right.. and i am very familiar with the dodgy spawning system (have been spawned in the middle of the enemies stronghold a few times :p).. but where i was sniping from was riddled with my own players as it was only early in the game and we had not yet overpowered the otherside.. i ALWAYS press esc and keep an eye on the big map and where my team is located and if numbers start to get low on where im situated i will run to the otherside and start sniping from there not only to avoid spawn killing but also because a sniper rifle doesnt do much justice against a P90 at close range..

Maybe i was just unlucky and spawn killed an admin or something.. But in my defence thats nothing new with the -AAT- clan.. they spend alot of their time running to the otherside and spawn killing anything that rears its head... I have a feeling it was more to do with my decent streak.. they were losing pretty severely too..

It reminds me of the time on BF2 when I was a sniper lying down on the top of the hill and there was an enemy below me but he didn't know I was up there. Then my team mate got out of a vehicle(also down by the enemy) and started bunny hopping around. As the enemy went prone to kill him, I shot him one in the head. A minute later "KICKING!!! Tomeis STOP BUNNY HOPING"

I know this topic is about COD4 but I thought this was appropriate for the discussion. Confused admins make me lol more than admins that are out to get you!
