.... lags. I can play all maps fluently but this map lags when I look at certain areas with many objects(low FPS) Even on an empty local server. I think I will have to decrease my video settins, unfortunately

Yeah, some are ranked, some unranked.

Actually the map is unbalanced for the EU, the PAC has more tickets. It should be the opposite, the attacking team always have more tickets to compensate for the ticket bleed and the losses when capping the first flag.
Except that point the map is fun, though sometime it's a real slaughter, there's always one or two flags where the enemy keep spawning, involving a lot of spawnkilling and major pain to cap the flag, multibloc for example (don't know if it's the same name in english).

True dat, there are many places places where people spawn in the open between two flags, how any mapper can think that's a good idea is beyond me. People ought to spawn somewhere sheltered, behind a wall or in an alley branch.

Ah, I didn't know you spawned in clear, clear view. I hope there's enough ability to at least knock off a chunk of the defenders with an Orbital strike so you can get outta spawn..

It's not that all the spawns are coverable, but much like when people are camping one side of harbor's indoor spawnpoints its a major pain in the *** to roll the dice and try to spawn, or taking the time to walk up from another flag.

Also, Operation Shingle is the first map that fully utilizes the z-axis.

Lol, I play on the BETA 1.5 WAKE ISLAND or OPERATION SHINGLE servers. Kick vote is disabled there, I didn't even know there were any other servers running 1.5. :laugh:
