Hey fellas never tried this before. Does this record the whole game? I just down loaded a battle recorded session, but i dont know where the heck it is. Can anyone help me out here. Thanks i know its a noob question but i needed to know lol. Thanks for your time.

Yes, it records the complete round, from beginning to end.
You can find it if you open BF2142 and go to Community/Battlerecorder. The left side will be the ones you can download. The right side are the ones you did download. Select one of them and press PLAY. -

So I downloaded some BR footage today, and for some reason, I'm not in any of the rounds that were record. How does BR work exactly? I assumed that it was just a list of BR enabled rounds where you were present but... o.OComment

Yes, it records the entire round you are in.
But if a server has a site you can also download BR footage you are not in.

Battle Director is all third person views. If you want to have the first person viewpoint you need to use FRAPS.Comment

Thanks Skates , hey i tried the trial version of fraps and it lagged out my game. Would the full version work better. I dont see why my machine couldnt run it. My specs are Mobo is ip35 pro proc is a intel qx6750 quad core extreme over clocked slightly to 3.0. the video card is Saphire 3870 512mb. The ram is 4 gigs of patriot extreme slightly over clocked. 350 gig sata drive. Anyways thanks to you and the SIR community for your contributions to us 2142ers you guys rock!!!!Comment

Trial Version and full version are about the same... Try playing around with the FRAPs settings. I have a CRAPPY Mobo, RAM and Processor but I have a good video card and I can use FRAPs without a signifigant drop in FPS (around 30 from my usual 80).Comment

I am having problems down loading BR on all four of my servers. I had myinternetservices set up the needed files on the FTP server and the files arem being down loaded to the server I can see them. But each time I try to view one I get a error saying files not found on server. Each server has its own demo file.

So using a URL to connect would it look like this? http://www.mywebsite.com/video/demos160/ only the last number would change to represent each server
and for the Auto Demo Hook I have this for Linux set-up adminutils/demo/rotate_demo.py if anybody sees a problem with the way I have the 2142cc set up please let me know.Comment
