I have been away for about a year
and we had tons of arguments
that macros and key binders were "cheating"

just found this with a search
again - this is old - not sure of the current thoughts on macros

How is using macros cheating? I guess we can call all major companies like MS, Logitech, razer etc cheaters cause they make keboards with macro keys

It soley depends oon what your going to use theese HOT KEYS for. If your going to use them to turn a G36E , M16 into a full burst Auto weapon or use a recoil script then I call Haxor , the same as an auto clicker for a TV missle .

I think its lame and I kick people for using them ,,if your just gonna use it for throw medic pac , return to guns then fine . A good mouse with a couple of side buttons will do .

I have a G15 keyboard with macros to type out a few lines of lag compensation in the console when I join servers, and I've never been kicked for running Autohotkey while I play.

So you use a G15 for lag compensation ??? WTF just re write you hit box detection/latency within Programme files . And you use Autohotkeys for what exactly ?

Like i said it depends what you use them for , a good admin who has done his homework and tried out theese SCRIPTS in single player mode will now what to look for . I have scripts that can make a TV missile do a near on 360 and to me it is nothing more than a HAX .

Punkbuster will not detect Autohotkeys or Scripts or kick for them , a good Admin will and I DO .
