Connection Problem

Maybe someone in here can help me out with this..

I can load in to the account server, I can select my server, and load the map quickly, but when I get in the server, It says there is a problem with your connection, and it just sits there, The only way I can fix that is restart my computer? Any suggestions?

I had a problem similar to this. The way I fixed it was to log into my friends BF2 account on my comp, play a round or so. Then reconnect to my account. This fixed a problem similar to this. Not sure what this did or why it worked.
EA suggested to delete BF2 folder in my documents, then load game and connect to account, I never had to do this as I fixed problem before they replied.
