Goofiest IDS question...

As I often play support....I'd like to know.....
I heard somewhere that if you drop an IDS, only your squadmates will see the enemy 'dots.'
Then I heard elsewhere that the whole team will see them.
Which is it? And what proof do you have to back it up? I don't trust the "That's what EA says" reason.

Your whole team can see it, I have been using it since 10 days before NS Release (when we could Pre-Order it and unlock crap early) and my clan mates have told me that they could see it AND thats what EA says.

Plus the fact that when squadless or commander you can still see the IDS blips on your minimap :p

Only the Otus makes diamonds that only your SM's can see.

Everyone in your team can see the IDS dots.

It's weird how little this box of tricks is used. My trooperjac character always carried it without fail.

My new assault character can't obviously but I hardly ever see it being used by other payers.

Yeah lol. IDS = Very useful tool in pubs most leagues don't allow it though =(

:laugh: Yes that's it. Then as the team whips around to face the incoming red dots, we'll see they're wearing sleeveless vests and Daisy Dukes. As our team just stares in confusion, they whip out their..... Vosses and Ganzes and mow us all down.

The Shotgun kit guys pulse thing (rdx detonator with diffrent screen) shows a bunch of red diamonds to any one with netbat ID
