Flickering Screen and Crashes

Ok... heres my problem.

Ive had bf2142 for around a year but this is a new problem. I can join a game fine but when im in the game my screen will sort of flicker, like there is something under the game trying to poke through. Then when this goes on the game will just freeze at any point and wont unfreeze. Then i have to get out of the game to work the game again... sometimes even switch the whole PC down.

Anything at all will help. as long as you put it into idiot talk ill be fine lol

1: delete your cashe
if that doesnt work:
2: run in compability modus for windows 98/2000 and then back in xp(or vista)
if that doesnt work
3 change the 1 after fullscreen to a zero(this can be changed in the shortcut, target). this will give an error message sometimes. make a screenshot and post it here.

note if you dont know how to make a screenshot: press print screen, paste it in paint, and save as .jpg . uploading can be done at the tgf from tgn.

ok... i know nothing...
1. whats a cashe and where can i find it
2 the other thing i dont know how to do so ill need like a step to step thing. Also my pc is a Xp

cashe can be found in My Documents\Battlefield 2142\mods\bf2142\cache
change the compability modus can be done in 2 ways. the easiest is with a shortcut. and in compability tab check run in compability modus. and change it to windows 98/2000
