Yesterday it took me around 5 minutes to login, it's probably the EA's login server. I thought they fixed it already since this morning it working all fine for me.Comment

I cant log in either and neither can a clan mate of mine.it happened yesterday to another clan mate but i believe it sorted itself out after a while.Comment

gamespy's down. UT3 is down, along with any other gamespy supported game (BF2, BF2141, etc)

I thought Gamespy only powered the server browser, not the logins for EA games.Comment

No. When you make your BF2 account, it's made under gamespy. When you login on fileplanet you see your BF2 nicknames. If you make a new BF2 account in-game, it will show up under your fileplanet account. When you log into fileplanet, you log in to all the other services which is lists in its banner.
