setup a two player match between me and my step dad?? he has his own full on gaming pc and i have mine and i want to be able to setup a match between just me and him..is it possible?

create a server on one pc and pass word it, then connect by ip or soemthing to the other? im not sure, never done it before.

You might want to look up hamachi

however as i said never done it before.

Yeah, create a server and then (if you have a router) set up a hamachi network (download the program, it's free) and /connect IP.

Hamachi is useful if you're using firewalls/routers as it allows users to connect to your server despite those programs.

ok..so i only have two computers.. soo does one computer have to be a dedicated server?..

because i want to be able to play against each other.. and we both use our own pc..

Set up one computer as a listen server. With two people, it should be no problem to serve and play.

Are you two on the same network? Cause then ull just have to create a local game... Just press "Start new server" and then turn dedicated server off or to dedicated LAN...

Just run it off your PC, you can still play with no lag.

hmm well thanks heaps for all the replies.. i will be sure to try each of them tomorrow and ill tell u how i went :) my step dad sucks at it but heh it will be good drag shot practice :p
