    Battlefield:Bad Company

Been on EA's Battlefield:Bad Company site and got to say it looks fantastic.

Bad point being that my computer will never be able to run that game and to be honest I will never, ever get a sniff of it.

I certainly can't afford a new computer just for gaming, and spending £50 on a new game for a console that costs less than £200 is a joke! (need to buy the console first anyway)

I'm not complaining about this game or the next generation of games they look stunning and maybe one day, who's knows, the lottery may come roling my way.

However, it would be nice to see really decent games come out for those of us who don't own an all singing and all dancing machine. This will I suspect never happen as designers stride to out do each other.

I just feel that now after playing games for 25 years some of us are being pushed out by the excesive costs now involved in this past-time.

    Any thoughts on this?

The fact that it's for console only means you'll never ever get a chance.

    We await BF3

    btw, check out Battlefield: Heroes

Hey just call me 'Donkey' never noticed it wasn't being realeased on PC :hmm:

However, I should think what I have put above will still be applicable to BF3 as games like Vegas and COD4 are already asking to much from my machine.

Also Alex, I've replied to your question in the thread '18 months later'. battlefield heroes has been checked out and i'm looking forward to seeing how this plays......it already looks good and alot of fun.
