if move orders give out field upgrade points. I've been avoiding them because them might not, but they're very useful in telling your squad to specific locations such as a building or corner, very useful in city maps without having to say it over VOIP. (Also you can spot snipers with it. Very useful in Wookie's sniper mod for BF2)

I'd suggest to do it like this: Give attack or defend orders and tell your squad to follow you. If you have a good squad, they will follow you anyway. And if they don't, I am not sure if move orders will do any better.
