Latest patch?

So, which is the latest patch? Searching in google just gives me a ton of different versions and I don't know which is the newest one.

Last patch is 1.61

This extract I got from BG42 mod forum will hopefully clear things a little bit:

1) install the Battlefield 1942 game.

2) If you own any of the XPacks (Road to Rome, Secret Weapons) install them in the following order

2 a) Road to Rome
2 b) Secret Weapons

3) install the patch "battlefield_1942_patch_v1.6.19.exe"

4) install the patch "battlefield_1942_incremental_patch_v1.6_to_v1.61b "

SO when i get this do i just download 1.61 and install it? or do i have to get any of the other patches for it to work?

are there still a lot of players? some large full servers?

Yea last time I checked there are still over 300 players online. Some still play vanilla BF1942, whereas others prolong the game's online life via mods.
