Controlling TV Missiles? CAKE. Not even a piece of cake, its more like crumbs from a cake. I probably hit with 99% of all TVs I fire (and I fire them while flying the darned thing...)[/bragging]

Tips? Err... Don't overestimate. The slightest jerk of the mouse will throw them off... Its best to (as early in the flight as possible) pointed in the general direction of the target, then when you get REALLY close to the target do a sudden jerk at it. Hopefully there won't be enough margin for error if you wait until that perfect time to move it.

[shameless-advertising]Speaking of TV Missiles, I am around 65% finished with my latest video which is a sequel to my first Gunship-Soloing video. Even in its early stages I can say that its 150% better (I'm a better pilot now than I was then). Stay Tuned![/shameless-advertising]

Yes, I like using the mouse with the sensitivity down. Try finding an empty Suez server and park the gunship on the edge of the building by outer bridge, or on those high towers and just practice hitting anything from trees to vehicles. Another good one to practice on is Minsk as you can park on the high buildings, nose up to the edge and fire. Be commander so you can drop supply crates on the gunship and just keep practicing.

for moving targets make sure to aim where they will be early so only the slightest adjustments are needed at the end.

bind the aircraft controls to the keyboard (I think it's pitch up/down and roll left/right that you need to bind).

use the mouse to center the missile and the arrow keys to adjust.

O o Im looking forward to this. I recently started gunning and getting pretty descent. The one's that elude me are the inverted shots or one's where the pilot is approaching a target at a vertical angle... when the screen starts switching from up side down to right side up.

But ya, as someone else mentioned, lead the moving targets and keep it there. You really have to commit to it. Specially when targeting a fast, moving, gun ship.

With stationary targets, I like to get it on track at the (very) beginning, leave it there and wait till the last second to jerk it over into the target....bout the only way I can describe it sry.

Practice. But I must warn you, you're probably gonna piss a couple of pilots off in the beginning if you cant hit your targets so it's best to be in communication with them.... If you're lucky enough to get a pilot that comes in high and lines you up just right, it'll be a lot easier than one who fly's low and fast- leaving you with blind shots. Much harder to locate targets that way. K I need to quit rambling. Damn coffee

                  Fingulfin....Hurrry!!!!!

Actually, TV Missiles are bound to your infantry controls. To bind them to the arrow keys, bind the movement actions that are normally bound to the mouse to the arrow keys.

Thanks a lot! Who'd thought it was bind to INFANTRY control. Anyway, I seldom fly in a gunship, but I find myself firing speeder missile more often. Sometimes the missile just goes south and all I can see is snow on the ground. This happens at least 50% of the time. What did I do wrong with speeder TV missile?

Nah, Hachi TVs just do that... Its annoying, but you got to get used to it.

If the hachi missile is too close to the ground you get that snow flying up.
