Ok, this is complicated, but bare with me (follow the problem). Wasn't able to play BF2142 for couple weeks, although I am confused what the problem is to fix.
Weeks of fustration when to play local (hosting own server), and even single player, the game would flicker, exit onto desktop and then would recieve this error message (attachment). But, if I join a server after map loads, I then press ok (join), I would get a blue screen, then computer reboots on its own (no error message..nothing). I questioned to EA, and I get emails to reinstall, do this and that, but nothing (many times reinstalling deluxe). All the same issues remain. Even reinstalled windows couple times.

Now, a couple days ago, I purchased a new video card. Installed and played around with it (settings). I load BF2142 (deluxe), and try single player, host own server. The game would exit onto desktop, after a flicker, then error message (same as attachment). But now, I join a server, and I am able to play a few rounds. Exit server, play single player, host own server. No problems. I purposly exit game onto desktop, then start again, then try single player or host own server, I get game exiting onto desktop with error message (attachment).
