Ok so i went and bought Deluxe edition today, then i wanted to play northern strike, so it tells me to go to EA - Activate a Game. I put in my activation code, then it tells me to log in, i log in and then it sends me back to the previous page where i enter the activation code and has little red letters that say "The registration code submitted is already used"
thats exactly what happened to me.i asked the ea support people for help and all they told me was that my game was already activated and i need the game installed to play.but i'm stuck trying to activate a game that was already activated
in my case, i have not even activated, all it says is that code is already in use...this is complete bs.
I buy the original game for 30, then go buy deluxe for another 30 to play northern strike. It doesn't work. I'm stuck with 2 da** copies of teh same game, and issues with one of them.....wtf...honestly i like EA but they complicate it too much and can't even get a game to work properly now
Well EA pulled a good one, they didn't let me activate my Brig. General. But instead made me make a new account in which i would be able to play northern strike. So im starting a new soldier because of it, but its ok with me, because it feels good to start over, possibly make a better soldier because of all the stuff i learned from before.
euh... same with me, just purchased it on EA website yesterday. Only Ns booster pack. same error msg. What do i have to do? I sent a e-mail a EA support but i dont know when they are going to wright back. Suggestions?
This is what you do. I brought the Deluxe edition of BF 2142 which "should" included NS in the package like the BF2 package. But I only got 1 CD key which only gave me BF 2142. So after 1 month of investigating with friends here what you do step by step.
You must Email EA via your BF account and they will actived for you!
To avoid getting rejected by automated response mails. Here's a example of what to include on your mail to EA. Go to EA website. Log on. Go to support and give them a ticket.
Your BF 2142 account linked to the Northern strike CD Key.
Your E-mail used for activating account.
The BF2142 CD key.
Your address.
ZipCode
Affected Soldiers name. So for me it would be Amaranthen
Proof of Purchase: the little number on the manual at the back
Version: Retail? Downloader? Deluxe?
Retailer: Best Buy Canada for me.
EA webaccount.

Haha the last part of my "Rant" was a little nudge on the EA to make them aware of this issue. Ignore my strong lanugage if you consider it to be.

KK. well i've got a problem with the game too. My problem is that i baught this game. The deluxe edition sucks. The original works just fine. but the minute i tried to activate the northern strike its been a living nightmare.:cry: Every time i try to go in and activate it with my cd key it says "System Error. Please try again later" its been two days and ive tried 20 bazillion times and it still doesnt work. someone help me. if you know a line with EA. (an actuall person) please tell me.:evil:
