BF2 "there is a problem with your connection"

I get kicked from servers, while ingame, the game frezes, I get the above message, and then "connection to server has ben lost"
It is the same thing when I have a 0 ping or 500 ping.

I updated the game(1.41 patch), update punkbuster, disabled Viop, disabled EAX, turnd off firewalls on 1. PC 2. router. Nothing works.Ports are opend.
I can find the solution on the web.

    I have P4 3.0, 2GB ram, 19"lcd 190CW, Asus motherboard, GE force 8400, ethernet adapter, conected with a cable on D-link router DSL-G684T. I use win XP-sp2.

What else can i do? is there a specific configuration for the router of some kind for this game only? please help.

try doing a speedtest and say speedtest.net and tell me what you get. It sounds like your internet connection is very shoddy. Perhaps someone is on the phone without a dsl filter?

what were you pinging to the node you selected? That isn't the fastest of connections. And wheres the splitter? In the house? That means its still going down the same line.

What settings and on what resolution do you play? I didn't even know nvidia made 8400's. It sounds to me like you might be trying to play on settings that your gpu can't handle.

It has nothing to do with GPUs or CPUs. It happens on my computer sometimes, as well.
