i was looking at the highscores table on bf2s.com, and i noticed that every player was a 1-4 star general, but had only played for 20 or so hours. what gives? did i miss something when i stopped playing over the fall and winter?

I believe some of them had their accounts reset but won the appeal to get their points back. There has been a rash of name hacks and most of the targets have been players with high(er) ranks. Said players gets reset by EA and then appeal to have have the reset removed. Apparently EA cannot give everything back but they can give global score back.
It is entirely possible I am wrong but it does make sense to some degree. If they were hacking why not change all their stats?Comment
