ahh yes but we dont know if you can multi uber yet, unless valve have said u can crit uber and regular uber one person at the same time and i missed it

That's what they said about the Goliath in BF2142 (I think ).

It turned out fine/awesome. :p

yer but the goliath had its drawbacks, I just think an invincible dude spewing out crits that will cert kill everyone around them is overpowered for a game like tf2

Yeah but then both medics have used their uber and it will take a while to get it back... so I think it's sorta balanced even though it would be a monster

but only for a few seconds. Then you're toast, or cut the amount of damage you can do so you can retreat.

I still think it would be awesome, even if its overpowered.

Steam Update news says we'll be seeing the new stuff within a week.

I can see some of the achievements being boosted too, as punching out 4 people within 10 seconds on an uber is near impossible on a normal match.

But the goliath was far from invincible.....:evil: *fondly remembers destroying them with rorch emplacements*


Anyway, if anything, the only two things that would balance it out are:

1. It takes two medics, getting uber at once without either dying. On a pub that's rare, there's always kamikaze scouts/spies ready to take out at least one medic. Not to mention you'd have to actually coordinate the triggering of the ubers.

2. Aren't ubers shorter the more there are triggered in the same place at once? I remember the last patch saying something about simultaneous ubers......

I think 1 uber at a time is better, you can still uber a guy and get him to range people and then invinci uber to get the turrets

but an invincible crit uber would render most if not all defenses useless, one good demoman will come in and annihilate all the engineers and all the sentries and then anyone else he can find with relative ease

I think they should let 2 medics uber at the same time,the time required and just having 2 medics on one guy is a lot to get going.Aa spy could always kill the crit medic,or kill them while they are charging.

Yeah. The crit-medic is still vulnerable. That evens things out a bit.

One Sniper could EASILY take out crit-medic so it'll just be invuln-medic!
