    autobalance

How will team balance work if people can't change sides mid-game?

I'm assuming we will only be able to have one character to our account at a time so I'm doubting it could just autoswitch us.

Whatever faction your character is will determine the side you play on at all times. So you won't be autoswitched to National should you be playing a Royal character.

So how many people can there be on one server?

Also, doesnt the game decide what server you play on?

I didnt think there was a list, you just click PLAY and it throws you on.

Not entirely sure though, not keeping up to date with this game

If "Play and be thrown in a server" is the case, there better be a code that analyses your location on the globe and put you in a relevant server.

            Otherwise, jebus christ.

Assuming the browser works properly, it shouldn't be too hard to match client and server ping.

That's my point though, how will the teams be balanced when people leave the server or whatever?

Whilst i can understand the simplicity and ease of that it would hardly be a step forward in social gaming, a nice trade off of attempt to join on a friend button or some means of not having to play alone online.

Dice despatch an elite team of troops to assasinate the best player thus restoring balance to the server. Whilst this may effect the size of the player population in the long term its considered a reasonable risk.

playing bf2, I'd only join servers if some of my friends were in it, I don't see how this will work

Well, BF:H is meant to be a game that you can get into quickly and have some fun. It's not meant to replace any Battlefield experience you already enjoy or compete with BF3 when it comes out.

I'd suggest that we wait to see what we get.

Yep, logic should never be publicly viewable on the internet without a content warning.

"Warning - logic is being used to connect you to the best possible server, please wait..."

but still, I want to be able to play with my friends, hopefully they'll have some option for that.
