Re: FFOW,to buy...or not to buy?!
I borowed this game from a friend and am glad i didnt pay for it. Very poor game imo. Its buggy, the SP is not very good. The cut scenes were more fun than playing the game. SPOILER:Even the part where you get tactically nuked isnt as shocking as it should be due to the bad storytelling. MP is nothing GL's and drones and has absolutely no team work. If want a similar and better game, get battlefield 2142. Much better online shooter imho.Comment

Stick with the Battlefield series. Too bad DICE didn't integrate the drones more into 2142.Comment

FFoW has/had potential. Look into it again in the future but don't buy it now.Comment

Re: FFOW,to buy...or not to buy?!
Well, no and yes. I mean that there's a chance that they'll get their act together. There are also mods declared for this game. That means to me that the game might be resurrected in the future.
Don't forget that the Desert Combat mod almost doubled BF1942's sales and that set the bar for MP war gaming. Many of the same folks who did that are at work at KAOS and a new Desert Combat mod has been announced.
Honestly, FFoW has some good things going for it. The devs were just forced to release before it was finished... Don't give up, but don't count on it, either. It might be a sweet buy down the road when a good mod is released.
I'm just trying to say, keep watching FFoW to see if you should purchase at a later date.Comment
