Tried other games, still come back to 2142. Nice balance and best team/squad play of any game around.

That's what we all say. But seriously, so do I. It's just that when I'm done with my work and what not on the computer and decide to play for a bit, about 96% of the time it's 2142. I don't think that DVD has left my drive in about 8 months.

I still play BF2 once in awhile, but I have to agree with you for the most part. 2142 just feels more user friendly. I love the maps on BF2 better, but I think the whole unlock system on 2142 is much better. More toys, and cooler new weapons. Nothing worse than getting 2000 points to rank up, and end up with only a new rifle, that's almost crap compared to the original.
Plus I like that 2142 went more with names for their weapons and vehicles. For me in BF2 I'd die, look over to see what and who, and I get this....

Even though this game has gotten a bit old for me, there is nothing else like it. I wish there were a couple more maps, though. I heard something about a patch, so who knows?

Crysis is great, but I cant stick to it. BF2 is just crap for me. The interface and sounds are just....crusty. I play a bit of MMOs every now and then, plus I used to be a Nintendo only fanboy and plan to relive it and get a Wii in a few weeks.

i only play 2142 as far as multiplayer, it has so much to offer as far a game play and playable senarios. Its a bummer though never getting past brig gen. Have to be a stat padder or hack or just have no life to get any further. But its still a blast to play.

I play 2142, BF2 rarely, Cod4 when my buddies start whining for me to get on it, and will soon be getting CS:S and FFoW. But mainly 2142, its by far one of my favorite games.
